The Bull Story

(The younger bull challenges the dominant bull, there can only be one winner, and only one bull will mate with all the females in the herd. It is a selection of nature that ensures that all the newborn are fathered by the strongest of their kind, hence it is the way of nature to filter out the weaklings in the species so the future generations will be all strong and carry only the best of genes).
This scenario is common in all of the species on earth.
Humans are no exceptions. The only thing that separates humans in this example from animals is that humans have come up with a thing called civilization, law and order, and equal rights among fellow humans. There would have been animalistic behavior as in the bull example among uncivilized humans.
Imagine a country ruled by a (male) dictator where he laid out all the rules amongst his people. There would be no stopping him in whatever he wants to do unless he is overthrown, and equal rights among fellow humans (democracy) rule.

What makes a man a man is the pure fact that he is a man. The primitive instinct of man is the same as the bulls, which is the desire to mate with as many a woman as possible, for as long as possible. Like the bull there comes a time when you start getting older and you know that your time as a dominant being will end.
In civilized human beings this does not happen, because humans also have adopted a thing called marriage till death do us part. So there is no danger of a younger bull taking over. The only danger is the macho image that men have, but like all things macho is not the same in all men. Some have so little of it that they easily give in and admit defeat, but some will go to any lengths not to lose it. The biggest macho of men is the oldest of them still having sex. No male will ever socially admit that they can’t get an erection, and to prove it to themselves or their partners they will try to have sex on every single opportunity, and it is a nightmare scenario for a man to lose his manhood.
This is where a male goes into menopause. When both partners are of similar age there will be no problem mostly due to the fact that women’s libido also lessen with age and the fact that women will start to have sexually related sicknesses or discomforts, and men will experience erectile dysfunction (unable to maintain an erection long enough for sexual arousal),
